January 7, 2011

In a defensive battle, Van Alstyne came out on top 40-32. Whitesboro could never get going offensively and had a really hard time getting to the charity stripe. The Bearcats only shot 5 free throws on the night. Whitesboro led 18-14 at half behind a good effort from Troy Willis and Mitch Krueger who got the Cats going late in the first quarter. Willis finished the game with 8 points leading the Bearcats in scoring. Krueger finished with 5 points. Cameron Clark had 6 points, 5 assists, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals for the Bearcats. Trey Eleazer added 4 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals. Jordan Gill grabbed 7 rebounds in the loss.
